LiaisonEXperts is specialised in procurement management and process optimisation. Today one of our consultants is going to kick off at a leading player in waste management solutions.
Our client is facing a capacity loss (around 25%) due to supplier delays, several units are waiting due to components shortages and reliability of suppliers in communication and delivery times. In addition, the existing sourcing strategy could be improved as there are no alternatives for their key commodities and looking for better cost breakdown planning.
The following strategy will be applied:
- Supplier performance improvement
- Alternative Sourcing for key commodities
- Procurement strategy improvement
We will aim at making sure that delivery performance of the client’s components to the factory will be on the demanded (to be agreed/specified) level. Furthermore our consultant will advise the COO about improvements within the procurement field, to ensure a smooth operation. Also the realization of cost reductions will be one of the main activities. Main commodities will be hydraulic components, like cylinders, manifolds, pumps etc.
Duration of this project will be 6 months.
